A very recent Art Deco–style villa right in the heart of Ubud, located on one of the town’s most pleasant streets, just a short walk from the Monkey Forest and some of the best restaurants around. The villa is beautifully designed and full of character, featuring an amazing rooftop with a jacuzzi and pool table, offering stunning 360° views over Ubud and the surrounding volcanoes. A perfect spot to enjoy a sunset in a private and relaxed atmosphere — truly one of the best addresses in central Ubud, without hesitation!

Helene's House and Team made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The team was so accommodating and communicative before and after our stay. The location was great, walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, massage places while not as hectic as the main area. We loved having our own sunset, hot tub, happy hour on the rooftop watching the sky around us change colors. The place appears just like the photos, but not shown is great the housekeeping team. The team did everything heating up the hot tub for when we said we'd be home, receiving our delivery orders, making laundry runs for us, and prepared a very early breakfast for us (we didn't realize until later it was out of their normal hours but they did it with a smile. Be careful what you ask for they are too nice!). Thanks again Helene's House for a great stay on our first trip to Bali!

Located next to the main street of Ubud city, very clean, the pick-up service is very thoughtful and convenient, there are supermarkets and restaurants just outside the house.Thank you to the housekeepers for their warm care, we had a pleasant trip to Ubud.

We stayed there 4 nights, and even spent one more night there. Also, an earlier check-in was no problem at all. When we arrived there, we were very warmly welcomed with a Holy Water Ceremony, which was a different but very beautiful experience. In addition, there was fresh lemonade and typical Balinese pastries at the reception, and we were also allowed to choose our own scent for shower gel and cream. During the stay, everyone was so warm and always asked if we needed anything. You could choose between three breakfast menus, all of which were very tasty, the bowl and the crepe are recommended. We would also give 10 stars if we could.

I stayed one night at Helene’s House and was impressed by the overall experience. The staff—Putu, Risma, Kadek, Tini, and Kartika—were attentive, helpful, and made everything run smoothly. The villa is well-designed, with a unique mix of decor that feels carefully curated. Its location is also very convenient—close to central Ubud, yet quiet and away from the noise. The in-room soap and lotion had a pleasant, refreshing fragrance that stood out. Breakfast was well presented, with several appealing options. I chose the smoothie bowl, which was made with their homemade coconut yogurt and berry compote. It was light, fresh, and nicely prepared. 👌 Even during a short stay, the level of service and detail was clear. I only wish if I could’ve stay longer!

This stay was a real treat—luxurious and spacious, with elegant European-style design throughout. The high ceilings added to the sense of openness, and the view out to the swimming pool was simply beautiful. One of my favorite spots was the rooftop area, complete with a jacuzzi and breathtaking views of the mountains. A truly relaxing and well-appointed space. The location was ideal—within walking distance to a variety of great restaurants, local markets, and attractions like the Kecak Fire Dance. Thanks to the lovely staff that greeted me and looked after me requests.

We were welcomed warmly by the staff at Helene’s House and shown around the very well-appointed property. Spending the afternoon beside the pool was delightful. Dinner and breakfast were prepared in the kitchen and served by staff, well-trained in the art of hospitality. Don’t miss out on the top floor, where the hot tub, pool table and sofas are. This is partly open to the stars, for dry evenings of fun, in the heart of Ubud. My bedroom was well-aired, smelt fresh, and was cool and quiet. What a pleasure to sleep on a luxury mattress, with superb linen! You’ll also enjoy the range of bathroom amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It’s right in the center of Ubud, so we could walk to great restaurants, shops, and yoga studios. The villa is big, clean, and beautifully designed. It’s not your typical Bali-style villa - it has its own special flair, something you don’t see often. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was really comfortable for us. The pool and garden area are perfect for relaxing. The staff were kind and helpful and everything was well taken care of. We felt at home from the first moment. I would definitely come back and recommend it to friends!

I must say that the staff at Helen's House are so happy, cheerful, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to do everything for you. They made the experience out of this world! The dinner and the breakfast were superb and they were so flexible to alter the recipes because of my food allergies. Helen's House is quite exquisite, so unique in decor and has everything you can imagine-even a popcorn machine! The attention to detail and design was obviously well thought out and stands out from most places I have stayed. Every room and space has its own theme-Indonesia meets contemporary meets retro. A truly amazing home! I would love to stay here again with a big group of people because there is so much to do just in the house that you would never have to leave. Absolutely a perfect experience! I had an absolutely delightful stay in Helene’s house. It is a truly luxurious villa, complete with aesthetically beautiful furnishings at a level that is very rare to find in Ubud. The extremely spacious bedroom had beautiful hand carved detail and top quality furniture, and the common areas were decorated with exquisite taste, while at the same time comfortable for lounging, like staying in the home of your most tasteful friend. There were so many areas to hang out: lounge chairs in the pool deck, the cozy living room, the upstairs terrace with wet bar and pool table, the jacuzzi with a view — so many options! We felt like we didn’t have enough time to truly enjoy them as much as we could. And the highlight was probably the incredibly gracious and skilled staff, including a private chef who outdid her amazing breakfasts with an intimate dinner we booked that was the most delicious and attentive dining experience we had in Bali. In short, we felt spoiled the entire time!

Firstly, location. We were in the heart of it all, yet had our own space and felt right at home. We were walking distance away from Ubud monkey forest and so many beautiful shops and streets. it was peaceful and quiet come nighttime. Secondly, the p lace. It was something out of a dream. The tone and vibe were immaculately set - you could tell how much effort was put into creating the perfect atmosphere. It was luxurious, offbeat, and outrageous all at the same time. Next, service. Our group felt like royalty throughout. The staff were accommodating and anticipated all our needs. The place was spick and span, everything worked terrifically well and the host was always contactable. Helene's House is like that affectionate, lively, quirky aunt that everyone loves to visit, come to life. Everyone should experience being taken care of by her. Helene's House is a hidden gem in a wonderful location! I was stunned by the beauty emanating from every detail in the room to the fabulous pool and rooftop jacuzzi. The bed and linens offer the most restful sleep I've enjoyed in 3 months in Bali, and while you're tucked away in the tranquility of the walled garden, you can quickly reach anywhere in Ubud without worrying about traffic. The team is absolutely delightful, kind, and highly skilled in the culinary arts. This place is a pristine cocoon for the senses, and, most importantly, the energy matches the aesthetic. We had a lovely stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The location is great as you are close to the centre and don’t have to get taxis. We even saw monkeys in the garden. The upstairs space is great but we didn’t use it that much as we ran out of time.
